 From traditional aerobic classes to Zumba, the YMCA offers a variety of classes to engage those who want to get their work out in a social, group format. Classes are listed below. Not all classes are available at all location.

Fit and Fabulous

 For the beginner or anyone wanting a low intensity class. Great for new and returning exercisers. A good class for the young at heart.

Kickboxing

YMCA Kickboxing is THE ultimate cardiovascular challenge, complete with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength and endurance training and a flowing cool down.

Body Pump™

This barbell workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room inspired exercises like squats, presses, lifts, and curls.

 Basic Bootcamp

Interval style class that incorporates outdoor  workouts and high intensity activities such as game play, calesthenics, cardio intervals, and resistance exercises. All levels are welcome.

 

Multi-Step

A cardio workout for all levels, utilizing a variety of STEP aerobics moves using STEP Reebok bench and motivating music. This class will utilize two to four bench steps. A knowledge of basic step patterns is recommended.

Yoga Fusion

A combination class of Yoga and Y Pilates.

Indoor Group Cycling 

Come join us for the ride of your life! These 60-minute SPIN classes (on our new stationary bikes) will increase your cardiovascular fitness level, increase your strength and shape you up as you enjoy the ride! (Beginner class is 30 minutes) 

Cycle and Strength

A fusion class that combines your favorite cycle workouts with basic strength training.

 ZUMBA™ 

A combination of Latin dance and other international dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Mambo and Samba. It is a dynamic, exciting, energetic aerobic workout...and it’s easy to follow! Come join the Zumba fun!

Slanted Riser™ 

Experience an amazing total body challenge in this fun-filled cardio/strength circuit workout. The new slanted risers transform a traditional step into a safe and secure incline bench providing both gravity assistive and resistive movements not possible with a flat step.

Belly Dancing

Come join us for the best abs workout of your life! Our instructors will give you a great workout while teaching the art of belly dancing. 

 

MSROM/SilverSneakers l®

This class is especially for our senior population! Membership in Secure Horizons or AARP insurance program is preferred. Exercises include work for all major and minor muscle groups addressing strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, agility, speed and power. A chair is provided if needed. 

Cardio Circuit/SilverSneakers ll® 

An advanced group exercise class designed for SilverSneakers students who have expressed a desire for more cardiovascular and muscular endurance conditioning and have experience with exercise activities requiring advanced levels of agility, balance and coordination. 

Yoga Stretch®

Enjoy a gentle form of yoga that involves being in or around a chair.
