Volunteer Opportunities:
We are excited to share some unique opportunites to help us build a stronger community with you. We want you to play an integral part in this process. Your level of involvement is up to you. Here are some events coming up that you can be involved in:
1) Healthy Kids Day: Saturday, April 17th from 9:00am-12:00pm
We are seeking volunteers to greet members and guests at the door, help members and guest move from station to station, and/or co-teach a Zumbatomic Dance Demo with a certified instructor. There will be several meetings prior to this event to learn the routines for the dance demo. Information will be given upon request.
2) Benbrook Sprint Triathlon: Sunday, May 23rd from 6:30am-10:30am
We are seeking volunteers to help in the following ways: cheer participants on as they race, hand out water to participants on the course, direct participants to the transition area, pull chips at the finish line, and set up and tear down equipment for the race.
Teen Wellness Committee:
This committee will be the pioneers in creating wellness opportunities for youth and teen members. This committee will meet monthly or bi-monthly beginning in June. Committee members must have completed the youth and/or teen wellness orientation before participating in this committee.
