General Summer Swim Lesson Information
Each session consists of eight lessons, which run Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday for four weeks. We also have Saturday classes which consist of four lessons (September-May).
There are two options for Summer lessons:
Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks (classes running every 2 weeks between June 7-August 13)
Tuesday/Thursdays for the month (June 8-August 26, 2010)
Fridays are reserved for "rain out" make-ups.
The pool will be closed and lessons will be cancelled if we see lightning or hear thunder. The pool will close for 30 minutes from the point of incident. Lessons that have met for at least 20 minutes will not be made up.
The YMCA will make up only two lessons per session due to YMCA cancellation.
All YMCA Swim Instructors are certified according to standards set by the YMCA of the USA and the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth.
