Cowtown Volleyball Club is a program available for high school and junior high athletes looking to improve and become better as a volleyball player! We are offering summer clinics to help your daughter improve the skills necessary to play at a higher level. These camps are affordable, convenient and are located in Benbrook. Why drive any further than your own backyard? We offer the same coaching experience as bigger clubs on a more personal level. With smaller numbers for each clinic and the same amount of coaches, we will provide your daughter top quality training with affordability and convenience.
TRYOUT NEWS!!
Cowtown is going on its 5th season and would like to invite you to join one of our club teams. We competed at the highest level for the the 2009-2010 season finishing in the top 35 in the North Texas Region for most of our top teams. We are conveniently located in Benbrook, which is in Soutwest Fort Worth. With top quality coaches, close and convenient practice facilities, and low club fees; other clubs cannot compete with what we have to offer.
Cowtown YMCA Volleyball Club will host tryouts at the White Settlement Rec Center located at 8213 White Settlement Road, White Settlement, TX 76108 on the following dates:
12 & Under and 13 & Under
October 30 from 9:00-11:00am and October 31 from 2:00-4:00pm
14 & Under and 15 & Under
November 6 from 9:00-11:00am and November 7 from 2:00-4:00pm
16 & Under
November 13 from 9:00-11:00am and November 14 from 2:00-4:00pm
There are two convenient ways to register for our tryouts!! You can register online or you can download the registration form and bring it to the Benbrook YMCA. Onsite registration the day of tryouts will be cash or check only.
You will need to bring the following to tryouts:
1. All of your friends with you so you can all play with the same club!
2. NTR Registration form (print out after you pay online)
3. Medical Release form (print from the NTR website)
4. Player info sheet
5. $45 Registration fee (check or cash only on tryout day; check, cash, or credit card when registering at the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA)
6. A great attitude and be ready to work hard!!
Important Notes:
You must register with the North Texas Region before arriving at tryouts. Please be prepared to present the region confirmation at the time of tryout registration.

A parents meeting is scheduled at the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA on Saturday, October 23 from 4:00-5:30pm. You will be able to meet our coaches, find out our fees, see how close we are to your home and learn what we have in store for you and your daughter.
Pre-Tryout Clinics:
Cowtown YMCA Volleyball Club is offering clinics designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming club tryout process. This is so players and parents can get to know the Cowtown YMCA Volleyball coaching staff and allow us to get to know you. We will offer two hour sessions for all positions.
You will need to pre-register to secure a spot in one of our clinics. All clinics will be held at the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA at the following days and times:
12 & Under and 13 & Under Age Groups:
Sunday, September 19 from 1:00-3:00pm
Sunday, September 26 from 3:00-5:00pm
Sunday, October 3 from 1:00-3:00pm
Sunday, October 10 from 3:00-5:00pm
14 & Under, 15 & Under, and 16 & Under Age Groups:
Sunday, September 19 from 3:00-5:00pm
Sunday, September 26 from 1:00-3:00pm
Sunday, October 3 from 3:00-5:00pm
Sunday, October 10 from 1:00-3:00pm
Cost:
$5 for current YMCA members and $10 for future YMCA members per session
There are two easy ways to register for these clinics: online or download the registration form listed below and bring it to the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA. Regstration will close the Wednesday prior to the scheduled clinic. Clinics are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
