Nathan Hulcy 
Outdoor Education Coordinator
Nathan Hulcy, who goes by Mr Dude at camp, is the Outdoor Education (OE) and Aquatics coordinator and also Camp Carter’s challenge course Manager. Born and raised in Texas, he has been working at Camp Carter since 2007. He enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing/ kayaking, snowboarding and pretty much anything outdoors; “life is too short to spend it ‘inside’”. He loves being able to get kids out of school and bring them to the "outdoor classroom."
Matt Reid "Mr Hi 5"
Lead Naturalist
Matt worked as Retreat's Host during summer 2011, this is now his second year of OE since arriving at camp from his hometown in Oklahoma. Mr Hi 5 used to also work at a YMCA camp in Colorado too!
Phillip Bruno "Captain"
Naturalist
Captain hales from from Missouri, he has a number of years experience working at summer camps. He studied Marine Biology at the University of Missouri.

Raven Whiddon "Mr Yoda"

A familiar face to those of you who have attended summer Day Camp, Mr. Yoda has been working at camp for 2 summers, this is his first year teaching OE. He is also enrolled at TCC!
Lynn Mazan "Mrs Twinkle-Toes"
Naturalist
A graduate from the University of Illinois, Mrs. Twinkle-Toes has a degree in Animal Science and is from Chicago. She has a number of years experience working in camping, most recently working in Glen Rose, Texas.
Mia Yang "Mama Mia" 
Naturalist
Mia is an international student from China, she has recently graduated from the University of Washington with a major in Environmental Science and Resource Management. She loves kids and nature. Mia says spending time with children everyday and teaching them about nature is a great experience.
