YMCA Summer Camps provide opportunities for teens, too. From exciting Teen Camp adventures to leadership opportunities through counselor-in-training programs, to opportunities to lead campers at Camp Carter, teens can find a great way to spend their summers in YMCA camps.

CIT Program:
The CIT Program develops leadership and character skills for youth entering the 6th grade and helps young people learn how to effectively lead children. The CITs will assist in day camp programs and field trips. Moreover, they will have special activities/field trips throughout the summer.

Teen Camp:
Teen camps are designed for youth entering the 6th grade in the fall of 2006, and have certain activities and curriculum adapted especially for teens. Unique and challenging opportunities include team building, leadership skill development and service learning projects. Other activities will include some traditional day camp elements as well as special field trips to provide teens a summer of fun with their peers!
