NORTHPARK YMCA DAY CAMP 2013: WHERE SUMMER COMES TO LIFE

 

Camp Destiny is a traditionally outdoor day camp.  Activities each week will include crafts, group-ex classes, swimming, outdoor sports, games and a weekly field trip.  Camp will operate in the multi-purpose room and outside under our large camp tent.  For ages 5 - 12 years old.  Registration begins MONDAY March 11th.

 Week 1: June 10th – June 14th - Ignite Your Summer: Field trip - Camp Carter  

 Week 2: June 17th – June 21st  - Jungle Jam:  Fort Worth Zoo - Fee: $5

 Week 3: June 24th – June 28th  - Splash-tacular - Field Trip: NRH2O - Fee: $15

 Week 4: July 1st - July 5th - Water Week

 Week 5: July 8th - July 12th  - The Dark Ages - Field Trip: Medieval Times - Fee: $19  

 Week 6: July 15th – July 19th - Beat the Heat - Field Trip: NRH2O - Fee $15

 Week 7: July 22nd – July 26th  - To Infinity & Beyond - Field Trip: Game Truck 

 Week 8: July 29th  – August 2nd  - Field Trip:  Children's Aquarium - Fee $8 

 Week 9: August 5th – August 9th  - Tropical Paradise - Field Trip: NRH2O - Fee $15

 Week 10: August 12th – August 16th - Field Trip: Science Museum - Fee $10  

 Week 11: August 19th – August 23rd  - Camp Rewind: Camp & Family Day 

  

COSTS: 

 

*  $25.00 - Registration Fee - NON-REFUNDABLE 

*  $115.00 - Weekly Fee - YMCA Family Members

*  $165.00 - Weekly Fee - Non-Members

*  $20.00 - Per week NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required for each week to reserve a spot (it will be applied to the weekly fee at the time of camp)

*  $8.00 - Day Camp T-Shirt Fee

*  Field Trip Fees

  Registration requires a photo of your child, immunization records, and fees for deposits, registration fee, and t-shirt fee

HOURS: 

*  Drop off between 7:00a.m. and 9:00a.m.

*  Camp Hours between 9:00a.m. and 4:00p.m.

*  Camp Pick Up between 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.

Camp is closed on the 4th of July

 

LIT - (Leaders In Training)

The LIT Porgram follows a curriculum of activities that teach specific skills such as; problem solving, decision making, communication, professionalism, healthy lifestyles, and YMCA Core Values.  Teens will build upon those skills and obtain YMCA certifications for their achievements.  For ages 13 - 14 (must be 13 by June 1st)
