2010 Day Camp Information

Classic summer fun! Campers ages 5-12 explore new ways to have fun with indoor and outdoor activities, camp crafts, and group games and have weekly field trips and or camp events/activities, such as, Rock Climbing Wall, Hurricane Harbor, Omni Theater, and more! Our day camp kids will also swim once a week at the Northwest YMCA!

Day Camp Sessions, Themes & Field Trips:

Week 1: June 7th-11th    Survivor Week

Week 2: June 14th-18th    Treasures of the Sea               

 *Ft. Worth Science Museum and Omni Theatre

Week 3:  June 21st-25th    Deep in the Heart of Texas               

 *Six Flags (9-12 yrs) Air Hogs Baseball Game(5-8 years)

Week 4: June June 28th-1st    Party in the USA                        

*Camp Cookout

Week 5:  July 6th-9th    Everyday's a HOLIDAY                       

 *Roller Skating

Week 6:  July 12th-16th    Beat the Heat                   

 *Hurricane Harbor (9-12 years) NRH20 (5-8 years)

Week 7:  July 19th-23rd    Super Sports Showdown                    

*Dallas Cowboy Stadium Tour

Week 8:  July 26th-30th    Out of this World                   

 *MAD SCIENCE visits camp

Week 9:  August 2nd-5th    Heroic Adventures                   

 *Game Works

Week 10:  August 9th-13th    YMCA's Got Talent                    

*Movie Theatre

Week 11:  August 16th-20th    Camp Rewind!

Camp Hours:
Monday - Friday  7:00am – 6:00pm

Camp Rates:
YMCA Members: $110/week

Non-Members: $130/week

Registration Fee: $40 (non-refundable)

Sign up for membership and Daycamp at the same time and we will WAIVE your membership joining fee!

OPTION 1: Do not pay Supply fee or Field trip fees. They pay their weekly rate as paid all school year.

Our Staff:
Let our summer camp counselors create a great summer camp experience for your child! All staff are at least 18 years of age and receive over 40 hours of training along with CPR/first aid training. Background checks are completed along with personal and professional references. All of our camps are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and ACA accredited.
