The water is great at ANY age. We offer swim lessons in group and private settings, in addition to water exercise programs to help you reach your fitness goals.
Our four-lane, 25 yard indoor pool is heated to a balmy 86 degrees all year. We have lap lanes available at all times of the day, except during swim team and some of our larger water exercise programs.

It is NEVER too late to learn to swim. For more than 100 years, the YMCA has been the leader in teaching people to swim. From skill and technique development to strength and conditioning, the Y's aquatics programs develop strong swimmers of all ages.

Water exercise programs are designed for senior adults, including Arthritis Splash. The Ryan YMCA offers year-round water exercise classes in our indoor pool, with seasonal outdoor classes.

A gentle 45 minute no impact class designed to safely move joints through a full range of motion. This class is great for those with arthritis or related conditions. The Arthritis Splash shallow water workout keeps the joints moving and improves agility and flexibility.
Shallow Water Power
The class brings music and moves together in the water to motivate and inspire you to move. A great alternative to tradition land aerobic with high-intensity, and low-impact moves. The classes in design for all fitness levels and swimming skills are not required.
This water exercise class provides a low-impact alternative to traditional land aerobics with all of the intensity! Aerobic activity and strength exercise are incorporated for a total body workout. Whether you’re trying to maintain your current level of fitness or reach a new level, the added benefit of training in water makes our aqua workouts safe and fun without impact to the joints. You don’t have to be a swimmer to participate. Bring your swimsuit and jump into the fun. Great for all levels.
Boot Camp H2O
It's what you've been looking for! Boot Camp H2O is fun, exciting and challenging. It incorporates cardiovascular work, strength and core training, all in the pool! Boot Camp H2O sets new standards in water based fitness that challenges all ages and fitness levels, this session will PUSH YOU TO YOUR LIMIT.
Known as the Zumba "pool party," Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
