Active Older Adults Classes Include: Zumba Gold
Ditch the workout, join the party! Zumba is a combination of Latin and International dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Mambo and Samba among others that are not only FUN but exhilarating! The dance themes create a dynamic, exciting and effective workout that's easy to follow. The routines are presented in aerobics/interval training format with fast and slow moves that get the heart pumping, tone your body and burn a ton of calories!!! Thursdays at 9:00am Room A with Perla
Silver Sneakers l
This class is especially for our senior population! Exercises include work for all major and minor muscle groups addressing strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, agility, speed and power. A chair is provided if needed.
SilverSneakers ll
An advanced group exercise class designed for SilverSneakers students who have expressed a desire for more cardiovascular and muscular endurance conditioning and have experience with exercise activities requiring advanced levels of agility, balance and coordination.
SilverSneakers Yoga Stretch
Moves the whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.SilverSplash® Class
Activate your aqua urge for variety! SilverSplash offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.Arthritis Splash
A gentle 45 minute class designed to safely move joints through a full range of motion. It is designed for those with arthritis or related conditions and will not provide a complete cardio workout.
