Pool Schedules

The indoor pool is open year-round. Click here to view the fall indoor pool schedule.

Facility Specifications

- Indoor, year round pool. 4 lane, 25 yard swimming pool. Heated to 86 degrees year round. There is always a lane available for lap swim, except during swim team and larger water exercise classes. Please familiarize yourself with the current pool schedule and pool rules!

- Indoor, Spa. Located in the pool area next to the indoor pool. The Spa is heated to 102 degrees. This is a wonderful treat for your muscles after a long work out! Please pay attention to our safety precautions and age restrictions for the Spa (rules are attached to the pool schedule).

Ryan Family Water Park

The outdoor, seasonal water park features a splash pad, play features, frog slide and water slide. The family fun water park is currently closed.

Inclement Weather Procedure

All pool areas (indoor and out) will be closed and lessons will be cancelled if we see lightning or we hear thunder. The pools and deck will close for 30 minutes from the last point of incident.

Please refer to our swimming lesson make up policy should we have to cancel class due to inclement weather. Please contact the YMCA front desk at 817-346-8855 thirty minutes prior to your class if bad weather is in the area.

Swim Testing Procedure

For the safety of our members, we will require all children under the age of 14 to successfully pass a swim test before they are allowed to swim in deep water.

Children that do not pass the swim test must always be within arm's length of an actively involved adult caregiver who is in the water with the child, or be wearing a properly fitted USCG approved personal flotation device (PFD).

If the child can stand with their entire head out of the water at any spot of the shallow area, a flotation device or caregiver involvement is not required.

Swim Testing Availability: Swim Testing is available during all open swim times, as long as both lifeguards are not engaged in lifeguarding the water.

Swim Testing Frequency: We will restart our swim test logs weekly.

Please encourage all children to check in with the lifeguard prior to getting in the water.
