Classic summer fun located at 3 convenient locations! Campers explore new ways to have fun with indoor or outdoor activities and also have weekly field trips such as Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor and much more! Our entertaining theme-based activities are age appropriate and our camps are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Our day camp kids also swim twice a week at the Ryan Family YMCA Water Park!
COUNSELOR IN TRAINING:
The CIT Program provides participants with training in how to use effective leadership skills throughout their lives. The leadership skills include communication, teamwork, setting goals and making plans to achieve them, decision making, developing strong relationships with others, increasing confidence, creativity, handling conflicts and problem solving. This program is for students entering the 7th grade in the fall of 2010 and CITs will assist in day camp programs and field trips.
SPECIALTY CAMPS:

Our Staff:
Let our summer camp counselors create a great summer camp experience for your child! All staff are at least 18 years of age and receive over 40 hours of training including CPR/first aid training. Background checks are completed along with personal and professional references. All of our camps are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: You will need to print off and complete the Registration Form to fully enroll your child in Summer Day Camp at the Ryan Family YMCA. Please bring the completed forms to the Ryan Family YMCA 7 days prior to your child's camp date.
