YMCA YOUTH SPORTS

Youth sports leagues at the YMCA offer children a chance to learn teamwork skills and master a new sport. Coaches stress skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship rather than winning. Sports teams are a great way to bring the family together, meet new friends and enjoy exercise in a positive environment.

YMCA members save money on all youth sports registrations. Click here for more information on becoming a YMCA member today!

NEW:  Kids Triathlon Team

The YMCA Kids Triathlon Team is a youth training club that offers developmental training by a certified trainer and swim coach, to prepare athletes for triathlon races. Kids train on all triathlon training aspects, including running, swimming skills and endurance, cycling, transition training and athlete nutrition. The team then competes together in multiple kids triathlon races.

Known as the Ryan Rockets, the youth triathlon team meets twice a week with one day of land and swim training each week. All athletic abilities are welcome as the only requirement is motivation. YMCA coaches work on skills specific to each race discipline and promote strong team sportsmanship and unity to prepare each teammate for a lifelong journey in the sport of triathlon.
