Every week we will alternate between Creative Drama and Ballet. The first week we will explore Creative Drama. Please have your child dressed in comfortable non-bulky clothes. Moveable/stretchable pants and a well-fitting shirt are ideal along with shoes that have rubber soles. During the weeks we will be dancing, please have your daughter dressed in white/light pink tights with a simple (ballet) skirt, leotard and ballet shoes. Hair should be tied back in a nice pony tail or bun. Have your son dressed in moveable/stretchable black ankle length pants, well-fitting t-shirt and rubber soled shoes with socks in case we need to take our shoes off.
Ballet & Jazz
Sundays, 2:30-3:15pm (Ages 6-9)
Cost: $80/members & $160/future members
Instructor: Victoria Lobel
The class will concentrate on two primary genres of dance. For the ballet portion (which is what we will begin each class with unless otherwise noted) please have your dancer dressed in white/light pink tights, any color leotard and pink ballet slippers. (If you already have a pair of ballet slippers that are a color other than pink, you may use those.) Hair should be tied back in a pony tail or bun. Boys should wear black loose, moveable/stretchable dance pants, well-fitting t-shirt and black ballet slippers. For the jazz, jazz shoes are recommended, but flexible, rubber soled shoes may also be worn. Ballet shoes are available at Payless Shoes.
